Im Ausstellungsraum wird eine graphisch-photographische Serie des Langzeitprojektes des Künstlers zum Thema Geld zu sehen sein. Es handelt sich dabei um künstlerische Arbeiten, die individuell, als auch im Teamwork entstanden, (z.B. „Wallstreet“ in New York (p.t.t.red) oder „Wir machen mehr aus Ihrem Geld“ (in Kooperation mit Peter Kees und Uwe Jonas)Archive: The exhibition space will show a graphic-photographic series of the artist’s long-term project focussed on the theme of money. These concern artworks that were created both individually and as teamwork. (e.g. “Wallstreet” in New York (p.t.t.red) or “We make more out of your money” in cooperation with Peter Kees and Uwe Jonas).

Seit 1984 realisiert er weltweit Kunstprojekte, Interventionen und Aktionen vor allem im öffentlichen Raum, z.B.: „un incidente in gondola“ (Nuova Icona, Venedig, 2002). granizza“ (Dialog Loci, Kostryzn, 2004) oder die „Flucht des Ötzi“ (Eurac, Museion, Bozen, 2008). Von 1988 bis
2000 arbeitete er unter dem Namen p.t.t.red (paint the town red), unter anderem an Stadtraum - Installationen, wie „goldener Schnitt“ oder „Rotverschiebung“ (1988-2000). Seit der Wirtschaftskrise 2007 beschäftige sich Hans Hs Winkler mit komplementären Währungssystemen,
regionalen Ökonomien, die zwar hochaktuell, aber weitgehend unbekannt sind und eine realistische Alternative zu dem vorhandenen Währungs- und Handelssystem und der „überdrehten“ Finanzwelt darstellen. Hans Winkler (co)kuratierte Ausstellungen wie „legal/ Illegal“ in der NGBK, Berlin, 2004, oder „looking for mushrooms“ im Museum Ludwig, Köln (2008). www.hswinkler.de
Since 1984 he has realized art projects, interventions, and actions all over the world particularly in public spaces, including: „un incidente in gondola“(Nuova Icona, Venice, 2002). “granizza“(Dialog Loci, Kostrzyn, 2004), or “The flight of Ötzi” (Eurac, Museion, Bolzano, 2008). From 1988 to 2000, he worked under the name p.t.t.red (paint the town red), principally in urban installations such as „goldener Schnitt“ [“Golden Ratio”] or „Rotverschiebung“ [“Red Shift”] (1988-2000). Since the financial crisis of 2007, Hans Hs Winkler has been concerned with complementary monetary systems and regional economics. These are highly topical but mainly unknown and yet they represent a realistic alternative to the present financial and trading systems of our hyped-up financial world. Hans Winkler was co-curator of exhibitions such as “legal/illegal” at the neue Gesellschaft für bildende Kunst (NGBK), Berlin, 2004, or „looking for mushrooms“ at Museum Ludwig, Cologne (2008). www.hswinkler.de
